Hello everyone!
So I see posts about how everyone is caking their stash and stashing it in nice little cubbies.
I've always balled my yarn. Do cakes take up less space because they can stack neatly? Or do balls take up less space because they're tighter?
I have entirely too much yarn and I need storage tips!
Should I join my granny squares at the end of the year or should I join them like every month? I know I can do them anyway just wondering what people think is the best. I'm not sure I have enough pins for blocking a years worth of squares

I am in the fortunate position to have too much yarn on my hands. All my normal donation spots are closed, and I am drowning. I'd love to pass along some of this to either an organization that's accepting donations, or whoever else would like to take it. I have Caron Cakes (OG, Sprinkle, and Swirl), Bernat Blanket (a blanket quantity in grey,) as well as some Patons (Kroy, Classic Wool, and Bulky).
