so the problem is this i just started crochet and i still don't know many stitches and a very dear friend is going to spend some time in germany at the beginning of the winter. I want to make her a cap or beret and a scarf combo and the help is which St is more economical? I'm unemployed so money is a little problem... The yarn I have access in the moment are the acrylic or cotton for cold and humid what's best? Free pattern indications really wild help

So basically I need a free pattern with a economic Stitch and pretty looking (she is very girly girl)
