Question about backing a blanket?

I was on Pinterest and seen someone back their crochet blanket like a quilt and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on that? I’m currently making my biggest blanket to date (like 6 feet x 6 feet) and I feel like it would be nice if I was able to back it with fabric but I’m not really sure how to do that haha.
