Yarn storage help
IFTTT newest submissions : crochet
Kind of a weird question, hoping that someone has a creative idea for me. I work at a yarn store (very dangerous for my wallet, not sure if I would recommend) and I'm looking for a good way to organize the yarn in the storage room. Right now there are a million little cubbys that we store the yarn in. It's separated by brand/type and then organized by color number which helps find yarn quickly for orders or when putting away yarn. Because we're limited on space and we don't know if we're going to continue getting specific colors, there aren't set places for each color, we just organize based on what we have at any given time. The problem is that I feel like I spend a huge amount of time rearranging yarn and moving if from cubby to cubby (especially when I discover that I missed a color and have to move everything one over). There has got to be a more productive way to do things, but I don't have any ideas and would be very grateful for help :)
