I have a cardigan I finished for a family member that I wanna add buttons to but I've found that if you don't have designated buttonholes, buttoning it can very quickly become a hot, mismatched mess. Lol.

What's the best way to make buttonholes after the fact? (The stitch is a "double crochet around the post, front and back" kinda stitch)
