This is probably written as simply as possible, but I don't understand. I am hoping someone is able to explain this in a different way. I do inow the abbervations. Single crochet and single crochet together.

Row 6 Ch1, sc in each st to last 6 sts, sc2tog, sc, turn. (8sc).

Row 7 & 8 Ch1, sc to last st, sc2tog over next st and 1st st from previous row, sc in next st, turn.
