Gauge help
IFTTT newest submissions : crochet
I'm working on a pattern and having trouble with the gauge,
the pattern says that 8 rows of 14 alternating SC and DC (US) should come to a 4x4 square - the first time I tried it, I measured 4" across but only 3" tall. I went up a hook size and ended up with 4.5"x3.5"
I'm unsure how to proceed from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
