Crocheting with young children

I am looking for advice on how to share my passion for crochet with my 3 year old. She loves to play with my yarn and always asks about it. I have made her so many amigurumi toys and blankets so she always gets excited when I start a new project. My mom was the person who sparked my love for it, and I would love to pass it on. I know there are some weaves for making things like hats/scarves but I was curious if there was anything more kid friendly?
