Need help with hooks and other accessories

I'm fairly new. I've done a few projects but something I am really wanting an upgrade on is hooks. I don't like the ones that are full metal or the really bendy ones as they hurt my hands a lot. I currently use a cheap "ergomic" set I got from Amazon but I want something to blow my mind when I use it for the first time (my mind is easily blown). Also any other accessory recommendations? I have plenty of those plastic stitch markers and just got better tapestry needles, and have several digital stitch/row counters that have saved my life. I've just gotten SO into crocheting and it's been my rock for a rough time I'm going through and I would like to be as crochet pimpin' as possible!! (And more comfy and things just feel better). Also yarn recommendations and where???

[help!] I need some guidance on choosing colours for a (bit of last minute) crochet project for my new partner. He loves Magic the Gathering and I want to make him an Izzet!

Hi, I have been really struggling with this, and I am hoping some of you might be able to help with colouring. My new boyfriend is obsessed with MTG and I am absolutely clueless. After some probing he has told me that Izzet is his very favourite.

I really want to make him one as I think he'll love it and it will mean a lot, so I have found a dragon pattern to purchase. The thing is, I have no idea exactly how to choose the colour scheme, like what body parts should be in what shade. I really dont have any clue about what shades to choose to begin with.

Adding to the challenge, I live in Sweden. I have a website with yarn to order from that translates to English. The selection is in the link, and there are enough shades of that particular yarn that I think it'll be sufficient.

Is anyone able to help me? I always see marvellous colour choices on here, and it'd be fantastic if someone could put a few minutes toward this.

Some more Izzet photos:

Can anyone who's tried both Addi Swing and Clover Amour hooks compare them for me in terms of comfort?

Can anyone who's tried both Addi Swing and Clover Amour hooks compare them for me in terms of comfort?

I find Addi Swing the most comfortable to use - a combination of the light weight, the ergonomic shape, and the smooth metal of the hook itself - and have been planning to slowly grow my collection. But in a recent post about pain while crocheting, a few people highly recommend Clover Amour hooks for comfort.

Can anyone who owns or who has tried both compare the two for me? Which do you prefer for comfort? I use the knife grip.

Thank you!
