Ideas for second baby gifts

My mum friends are having second children one after another. I was going to make blankets for the kids but remember we were inundated when we had our boy and reckon that they won't really need more!
Does anyone have suggestions for alternative gifts? I'm not sure on stuffed animals for the same reason.
