I'm doing a simple beanie: linked dc in a spiral, no brim, three strands of worsted weight merino superwash together as one.

I've never worked with wool before, so I don't know if I should make the hat the diameter of the largest part of my head—as is usually suggested—or if I should increase the diameter by some ratio to account for shrinkage...

Advice is appreciated!
