I used Projectarian's pattern and Red Heart yarn in Charcoal, Buff and Light Grey with a size I hook. Thank you to whoever suggested I put weights in the base, as that was a great help. And instead of a slicker brush to brush out the yarn, I used a pin and bristle combo brush. It seemed to work better for me with less shedding (though there was still A lot.
