IFTTT newest submissions : crochet
A certain well known crochet/knitting “designer” on instagram releases patterns that are made of a single basic stitch and then calls this her pattern. Then she has the audacity to post about how “people making a basic granny square and calling it their own pattern” and laughing about it, when an actual fact this is exactly what she does and she doesn’t seem to notice?! For example on her Etsy, she sells a blanket pattern that is a simple granny square with a border, then calls it her own pattern cause she uses 2 strands of yarn LOL. Also makes wash cloths that are made up of a single generic stitch and calls it her own pattern. Funny thing is people actually buy the patterns….my question is why would people see the benefit in buying patterns like this?? This woman is basically claiming generic stitches as her pattern!
