Yarn/Project holding hand in pain

so i’ve been crocheting for a few days (not really unusual for me), but i’m experiencing some really bad pain in the hand that holds my yarn and my project. it makes it kind of hard to crochet. i am not a tight crocheter so i dont have crazy tension on my hand. i also do take breaks often to watch my show. its mainly in my fingers but also a little in the palm between my index finger and thumb. does anyone else ever experience this? what did you do to help the pain? what else can i do to help the pain during crocheting? i’m 20 so i don’t think its anything like arthritis or such.
