I just wanted to say Thank You! To everyone who post and responds on this reddit!
(tl/dr: Great group of inspirational, helpful and fun members! I am making items, amigurumi & a cardigan, I never imagined I would thanks to y'all!!! ❣Thank you❣)
Of course Google is an option for many things crochet. But being here has been so inspirational! I love seeing everyone's FO's and WIP's!!! I have made my 1st, 2nd & 3rd amigurumi projects! I saw a FO cardigan that I am now working on - AKA: my 1st garment!! And I have a couple of blankets (mandala & mosaic) on the project list - all inspired by projects first seen here! And maybe - MaYbE - a kitty couch!!! First seen on the innerwebs while looking at various kitty pouch patterns - inspired by a post here! Now I have seen other's finished kitty couches - which are so cute, especially while in use!!!
Prior to joining, most of my projects have been hats, scarfs, little blankets for my daughter's dolls and doilies.
I learn something new all the time reading the post here. And my questions have all been answered so quickly and clearly. Like I said, Google is good - but I got lost just trying to determine the best way to change skeins on the cardigan during a 9 loop puff stitch... I spent well over an hour online researching and still didn't know which way would be best. I posted here, got a couple of recommendations, and although I haven't yet had to make a skein change during the puff stitch, I have chosen one suggestion if the need arises. And another suggestion is being used for the garment in general.
Basically, I very much enjoy this reddit. It is a small corner of the internet that is helpful, friendly and inspiring!
Forgive my randomness and the lengthiness of my post..this is a lot of words to say thank you to ALL, for making this reddit all it is! Happy Hooking One and All!!!
