Elusive simple cardigan pattern for super bulky (6) yarn?

I have 7 skeins of Buttercream Alpaca yarn, so I thought I'd do a cozy, simple cardigan for when fall comes... except I can't find very many cardigan patterns that use super bulky... is it not done? I'm just looking for a non-cocoon style, and it doesn't have to be free. This will be my first cardigan, but I'm open to learning a new skill. Any suggestions or pointers would be very appreciated.
