I'm making a black poodle atm (the regret has well and truly set in, black yarn is murder) and I need to attach many, many...many short lengths of yarn to make it fluffy.

How would you go about it?

Just thread the yarn in one stitch and out the other?

Or slip stitch the thread around basically every stitch?

Or another method?
