To continue or not...
IFTTT newest submissions : crochetSo I had bought a pattern for a cute cardigan. It was a $6 pattern which is pricey from what I can tell. But it was really nice looking and very professionally done. Unfortunately it seemed like maybe I bit off more than I could chew as a newbie and I set it aside. Then I got a book called “two simple shapes” which is all about making crochet sweaters, cardigans, and tops with either a rectangle or a square. Initially I thought oh this will be fun and easy!
Now I’m like 5 rows in and I’m extremely bored because each row is 266 sts long and I have to make 42 rows. It’s all one single stitch. No variation. I have little to no motivation to pick this project back up and I’m tempted to frog it (or cut the yarn where it is and toss the rest because it’s fuzzy bulky yarn that snags on itself and is a HUGE pain to frog).
Should I push through the monotony or toss it and try the first pattern I bought? (Or maybe even a different pattern idk I just really liked the look of these two in particular).
first one that I decided was probably too hard for me as a beginner
second one that is boring me to tears
