Need advice for hook size
IFTTT newest submissions : crochet
I want to make a star blanket and the pattern calls for a 5mm hook and matching yarn for that
I decided to get 2 whirl cakes of 3mm yarn and use both at the same time so it would go up in size rather than down, plus I'm not a fan of 3mm or lower hooks, too small for me haha
My question is, if the yarn is originally for a 3mm hook, what hook size would I use if I use two strands at the same time? Is it just double, so a 6mm hook?
