Do patterns translate to different yarn/hook sizes with no problem?
IFTTT newest submissions : crochet
For example, if I had a pattern for an amigurumi (random example, could be slippers, blanket etc) that called for a 4mm hook (using the appropriate yarn for that hook) could I do the same pattern with a 10mm hook/equivalent yarn and get the same results, just 6x larger than the 4mm pattern?
Or would it really mess with the project since it was originally designed for a small hook?
Sorry if this is an odd question. But I can’t seem to find an answer online.
