Can’t figure out how to start
IFTTT newest submissions : crochet
Hello! I’ve recently become very interested in learning to crochet. I see people making cute little animals and characters and I’m in love with the concept.
I purchased 6 sizes of aluminum hooks, some big yarn (blanket?) and just some standard 100% acrylic yarn. I have watched so many YouTube videos now and still can’t figure out why my loops get too tight for me to pull through, or why there’s suddenly a huge hole in the middle of my pattern.
Does anyone have any recommendations for learning? I live across the country from my grandmother and mother so they cannot help me in person like I wish they could, so maybe there’s a certain book, website, or video playlist that I could look into? I’m getting very frustrated and I don’t want to give up:( I just want to make a huge bee, I already bought the polyfill, my sister really wants one for her birthday.
