Why is my triple crochet tension so bad :(

When I “loop in” to triple crochet and wrap my yarn for the first time, the middle yarn wrap is always pretty loose and I feel like it’s messing up my tension. I’ve tried holding the hook a million different ways to get the middle wrap tight but I feel like I can’t get it tight enough! Does anyone have any tips?
