Left hand hurts like hell from crocheting?

Hi, it’s 3am and I haven’t been able to sleep much at all due to the excruciating pain in my left hand. It feels like it’s coming from the palm although I’m not sure. I crochet a lot and probably too much for my own good.
I was working on my project yesterday when my left hand started hurting from doing foundation chains. I really dislike making those, but I needed to for my project. I pushed myself to continue with a few more pieces and finally stopped when I noticed my hand stared burning up. It felt like it was emitting heat, getting inflamed, and turning kinda red. Now I’m just kind of bending my hand forward so that way the pain can be numb a bit. Has anyone else injure their hand like this? My right hand is slightly sore.
Crocheting is so addicting that I feel like I need to quit it altogether for my health sake 🥲
