Crochet newbie here, I’m more experienced in knitting. I’ve been meaning to make crochet baskets using Thick and Quick yarn and I’ve been following countless tutorials, but the bases and walls are never sturdy enough! What should I do to make them less floppy?

Also, I’d like to get into crocheting multiple strands of worsted yarn together, but I’m not sure how to go about that...

Any help would be much appreciated!
