Ik this is probably an irrational fear, but whenever i wear my crochet tops there’s always that fear in the back of my mind that the top is just going to unravel randomlyπ

I just started about a week ago and all I've managed was a single stitch 4 by 12 to keep my yarn together. I'm looking to find some easy projects that'll get me to spread out! What are some of your favourite beginners?
Hey all! Newbie here, I’m making a cardigan out of grannie squares and wondering if I should block before I crochet it all together? I know it matters for blankets and things but does it matter as much for a wearable?

I recently started crocheting hats and I really want to expand my skills. So I’ve tried looking up videos of cable kit hats because I really love the design. The only problem is, I have a hard time following along with the videos, and the patterns are like reading hieroglyphics. Does anyone have any resources or recommendations for a cute and easy cable knit hat?

My pinky controls the yarn as I'm directing it over the hook, and it gets super strained and cramped. Are there any tools I can use to guide the yarn to save my joints? Im too young to be hurting like this! π π π Thanks for the help!

I’m really new to crochet, and am making my first sweater- it’s pretty much a bunch of squares sewn together I tried to follow this pattern I saw on tiktok, but the upper part of the sleeves are too small for me. Is there a way I can make the top bigger without adding more squares to the rest of the sleeves? I think they’ll be too big if I add another block of them... any advice is extremely appreciated!

Hi, I am interested in learning to crochet. What is a very easy project I can start with?
Hey fellow hookers!
I make crochet boobs as a teaching aid for breastfeeding, and I've been asked if I can make a puppet to go alongside them.
I need a puppet with a human head, mouth that opens and has a tongue.
I've searched so hard to find something that will work but no luck.
Anyone have any suggestions or could help point me in the right direction on how to Frankenstein something??

Hello :)
I have never crocheted before but I would like to learn. I do know how to knit so I am not completely new to yarn crafts! I would like to make a cardigan out of granny squares + some cuffs/trim + a couple buttons. And possibly a matching bucket hat. This seems like a big project but I think granny squares with sunflowers on them would make a super cute set so I’m willing to try it π.
My question is, what size of crochet hook (tool?) Would be good for a medium weight/kind of chunky style? And what type of yarn would you recommend for this type of garment?
Thank you in advance!

I really really love gradient cake yarns like scheepjes whirls and hobbii twisters, but I find they’re quite expensive. Are there other brands with cheaper gradient cakes?
