What is the best type of crochet stitch for super chunky yarn?

I'm trying to make a blanket for one of my younger cousins and for my grandpa in Wisconsin before winter hits and I didn't know what type of stitch to use. I'm using the Yarn Bee Jumbo yarn and had a good portion done in single crochet but it was really heavy and thick and I wanted to make it a bit lighter. I unraveled it all and have a HUGE ball of yarn now haha. I'm not used to working with such thick yarn but still want to continue it. Any opinions?
