How to remove a nail polish stain

Hi so somehow I’ve managed to get a nail polish stain on the baby blanket I’m making... Does anyone know a way to remove it ? The yarn is caron simply soft And I tried using nail poli remover but it made things worst and now the stain is on both side.
If it is impossible I thought I could maybe make a applique on both side using the green yarn?
